  Great place to stay basics to be fare toilets showers field etc we wouldn't stay anywhere else friendly nice atmosphere recommend to all

  It's great if you don't mind roughing it,really close to hillberry bend,which we went to on the Friday.Hot fry up in the morning in a van at the site was welcome..walked as far as hillberry to get a cab,if you have the right camping gear its prob great,one plug socket for the whole site was a joke,friendly and would use again if needed,suits the seasoned camper..

  We took in a TT practise week here May 2015. I have to admit we booked it with the idea to scope out the best spot for next time. However, after combing the whole island, next time we are coming back here. Bob and Hillary are great, friendly and running a tidy ship. Bob's raced sidecars and bikes, and was the first IOM native to score points in European biking championships. He had lots of great stories and knowledge. Facilities were clean and functional with electricity, some good cooking implements, kettles, island guides etc. The walk to Douglas was a pleasurable hour or £7.50 in a cab. Hillberry corner is 500 yards, where you can see bikes approach at 190MPH plus, but sleep in peace at night. Access to great parts of the island and track are a doddle. And we LOVED the chickens!! Mmmmmm tasty! Not really Hillary! ;-) Joe and Conor x

  Very good camping place. Much free space and very kind people owning it. Hot water and electricity are cheap. A very well placed camping for the TT, next to the race (can go on foot) but it also allows you to go out in bike (some camping sites exit are blocked during races). recommend !
