  A fascinating little museum detailing the IOM's role in the first and second world wars. There's also a few displays about other conflicts. One reviewer was moaning that there are only two planes, which is true, it's a museum which tells personal stories of people on and off the Island during conflict. If you want to see lots of aircraft then there are many museums with huge collections and vast budgets to look after them. This place is small, it's run by volunteers and they tell the stories of ordinary people very well. A great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

  Stopped off after southern 100 race in july with my friends had a great time filled with history.

  Small but very informative museum. Artifacts and stories about local people and events that impacted on this part of the world during WW2. The staff are all volunteers, who are very helpful and knowledgeable. . . .

  Absolutely fantastic museum!! So much information and interesting things to see!! Recommended at least half a day here because there's so much to take in! Free entry with donations welcome.

  Situated right next to Ronaldsway airport, this little gem packs so much into limited space. Fascinating historical viewpoint from a Manx perspective. Free entry (donations gratefully received). Volunteer staff help make it a unique experience. Go see for yourself.
