  Convenient location, great breakfast and facilities. Our room had a bay window with armchairs and a table which was great for enjoying a cup of tea. The only thing that let the room down was the worn and wrinkled carpet. Apart from that a great place to stay and friendly helpful staff.

  Great hotel, great location and view. Couldn't fault the staff or food. Evening meal spot on and great breakfast.

  Good hotel. Room recently renovated with comfortable bed and large TV in room. TV has full sky package so can watch sports or favourite channels. Only ate breakfast at hotel and this is a buffet style with a reasonable choice.

  We have just spent 2 days on the isle of man. 2 nights spent here at the Empress hotel. We were very impressed with the hotel. Condition of the hotel was better than I expected ,with it being the end of the season. Our room was very spacious, clean and had everything we required. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed to much trouble. The breakfasts were great. Everything cooked perfectly. I will return to the island. And will for sure be staying here! Thank you Empress

  Our room clean and tidy if a bit smaller than expected. As we were with a tour the dinner menu was limited but the food was well presented and good quality. Breakfast was buffet style and reasonable quality. Staff were generally friendly and efficient with a couple of exceptions. Public areas were very good and the single lift worked without a hitch . Hotel is in prime location on the sea front with bus stops close by. This is the a older hotel which has been well refurbished .
