  Last minute booking, lovely rooms in the centre of Castletown. Super food in the bar, friendly service. French toast and bacon for breakfast, delicious!

  Lovely little pub/restaurant in the centre of Castletown Square that also offers accommodation. Best thing for me is their selection of Gins & every time I go in there is a new mix to try. Not so hot on the vegan food offering but the staff are friendly & try their best to ensure they can give me something. I had mushroom on Bruschetta with a very n8ce side salad & pesto plus they made me some fried potatoes separate to their fryers as they do get chicken/fish in the oil as well as chips. Effort was very much appreciated!! Definitely recommend a visit

  Since the refurbishment The George has a comfortable, almost "country house" feel in the bar area. There is plenty of space between the tables so you're no in your neighbours' pockets. The comfy wing chairs at the tables for two are very popular. I can't comment on the food or the accommodation as I haven't eaten or stayed but I'm told the rooms are top notch.

  Its not a hotel. Its a pub with rooms. Very good rooms. And friendly staff. But it means it takes ages to get breakfast or check out. You want coffee at breakfast, you have to wait for someone to turn up. Same for toast. For check out. etc. 3 days on the trot its been the same. Kind of like they built a nice place then forgot to staff it
