  Excellent book shop with the widest selection on the island. Sells a lot of gifts and board games too

  Excellent book store with a good cafe and plenty of reading room. Comfortable and not rushed. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Only complaint is the lack of books by new authors on show. Only available to order and yet tables and tables of celebrity books.

  No baskets to put shopping in asked a member of staff who said you can put things by the till while you look around. Couldn't get near the till for the queue. Left all my shopping on the floor and went to WHSmith thanks !

  Always busy despite the world seemingly adopting digital books. Nice to spend time perusing different categories in store and finding a book you'd usually not discover, something i don't often find in an app store. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.
