  Stayed here last year it's a great place and handy for the boat. Will definitely use again.

  Just stayed there for a week - my wife, two children and our Jack Russell. Chalet 51 (Pet cottage) at the front. Excellent location, lovely little beach (good fun when the tide is out) and an easy walk to both the electric tram station for journeying up and down the island as well as the quaint little Victorian steam train station across the glen which runs on most Sundays in summer. The unit was clean if a touch basic but the location more than made up for it. Regular, non-intrusive, visits from the resident Manx cat pleased the children. Lovely glen and coastal walks from the cottages as well.

  DELIGHTFUL STAY !. Ignore Hui Juice's review, that is completely incorrect and unfair ..William is an absolute gentleman and went out of his way to assist us .He even bought groceries for our arrival and waited for us until midnight to arrive because we got delayed .I can only imagine Hui Juice was a flippin nightmare guest because there is nothing to dislike about this place or the staff /owner .Tranquility, natural beauty ,spotless and beautiful cottages ..I almost want to keep quiet about this place so people don't get wind of it and we can't book back in !!!. An absolutely gorgeous stay for myself and my parents whilst I was working on the island for a week .We even got a ride on the vintage steam train in the glen which was absolutely beautiful .Cottages are top class !! THANKYOU William !!

  The worst possible place to stay on the Island! The bald tall manager was rude and aggressive, walked in the property at 8am with no notice to fix the radiators, then said he will throw us out when we suggested for him to tell us in advance next time. Was hostile from day1. Totally unprovoked. The pipe in the shower drain had detached itself (could see the foundations), so could not shower for 2 days. Basically a Revenge eviction for asking to fix the shower. Tenants/holiday makers worst nightmare. It has ruined our perception of the Island. Never booking Groudle Gen cottages again.
