::We stopped late one evening around 9pm in the hope of getting some food and a pint & were not disappointed! We were welcomed in, shown to a table & offered great service. Drinks arrived quickly. Very nice looking menu. We were told our choice of the freshly made fish pie was an excellent choice & I can honestly say it was the tastiest fish pie I've ever eaten! Served with salad and sourdough, the pie (with a mash topping and tarragon sauce was full of fish...it was full I tell you! Cod, muscles, river prawns & king prawns...massive x 3! (another fish too I think...perhaps a smoked one). We vowed to return which we managed even later one night after evening practice for the TT races. The fish pie was just as deliciously our first visit & another meal ordered very tasty I'm told. Good value for money for the amount of fish in the pies! Too full for a pudding! Great hosts & good vibe in the restaurant side and pub side. Pool table too. Looking forward to returning next year. Worth a trip out of Douglas. Just the other side of Onchan on the A2. You won't be disappointed...

::Stopped in as I was passing and was so glad I did. The meal I had was one of the best in a long time. The service was fantastic and all fairly priced. I'll definitely be going back again!
