::Great experience on this little railway line, drops you off outside of the cafe where you will find plenty of room and a cup of coffee and look around the information area and shop.

::Me and my husband had to sit separately as the train was too full.

::Snaefell Railway Station (known informally as The Bungalow) is the last stop on the Snaefell Mountain Railway before reaching the summit of Snaefell itself. The railway station provides bathroom facilities and has a ticket office where the Station Master may be found on particularly busy days composing himself for the arrival of the next tram. It is possible to take the tram up Snaefell from Laxey or The Bungalow. The latter is particularly useful for northern dwellers who don't fancy the stroll up or those passing by on the Mountain Road. The Bungalow is a famous place on the TT circuit and is a popular destination for TT spectators looking for a good vantage point on the course.

::Great Journey The trip was not too long or too short. From Douglas to hear and back it was a perfect one day trip with a lot of interesting things too see for a rail enthusiast. The top of Snaefell mountain was covered in fog by the time we got there but we had a pleasant scone inside the restaurant.

::A must do when you go to the Isle of Man. Still use the original cars, so don't expect 5 star comfort, but that's all part of the experience. Most of the cars have a small write up on them that tells you about the history which was a nice touch. Amazing views from the top and a welcome hot chocolate in the cafe! Staff are great if you need any touristy advice too.
