  Strix Ltd is the parent company of the Aqua Optima range of water filter products. My experience has been that Aqua Optima filters DO NOT filter limescale. In fact, I question whether they filter anything other than my hard-earned cash. I managed to get a refund for what I paid for the filters but the company refused to pay the (hefty) postage cost for returning the faulty items. In effect, I only netted 2/3 of what I paid after loosing to postage fees. My advice would be to AVOID BUYING Aqua Optima products. Instead I RECOMMEND Brita filters. I've been a regular user of Brita and have never had such issues. Furthermore, I would suggest to AVOID TRADING with Strix Ltd given their lack of corporate responsibility and ethics. A responsible trader would have accepted fault and issued a full refund (including postage). Update: About a week after writing the above review the company agreed to refund the postage costs. Thought it was a gesture justifying upgrading from 1 to 2 stars.
