  Nice cosy place to go. Good staff, had a good chat. It is a good place to go for food, stay for the night or just go out for a pint. I would say that the choice of ales is very large and has a good available option. It has alot of history behind the place. It is also very cosy when the fire is on. Very good all in all.

  Under cooked food and no apology or refund offered. Avoid the food but the place and drink are ok.

  Friendly staff but poor quality food. My chicken was incredibly dry and over cooked, the green salad was "wilted"! Not what I expected given the relatively expensive price for pub food.

  Good location. Very friendly staff. Made to feel welcome at all times. Great breakfast from Annie and good value for money.
