  I stayed with Patricia and Dave in July of 2014. My arrangements were very last minute, but they came highly recommended by locals, so I took the advice. Both Dave and Patricia were incredibly helpful in planning my trip over phone and email, giving guidance for places to eat, flexibility regarding my unusual travel plans (I was arriving at an unknown time on one day and leaving at the crack of dawn another). Patricia went above and beyond getting up before 6am the day I was leaving to make a truly delicious full breakfast, and show me the best route for my way home. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were unusually large and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed - I had such a restful night. The shower was wonderful, all the toiletries you'd need were there, and the house itself is large, spacious, and warmly welcoming, right in the middle of the town itself. There is ample parking outside. The bus to Douglas is three minutes walk for those using public transport Last but not least, the price was so reasonable! I would have expected to pay at least double. I can't recommend Yn Thie Jiarg enough. A remarkable price.for an ideal location, wonderful night's sleep, great shower and bathroom, wonderful hosts (and a great breakfast!).
