  The Braaide a Ancient Settlement. This site is the best preserved ancient settlements on the Isle of Man comprises one Iron age Round House, two Viking long Houses and some 10th-11th century medieval activity. Parking is in the small unmarked lay-by on the A24 between the village of Braaid and cooil 100 metres up the road and down the hill along the way marked path.
