  I am only giving three starts add the place was closed when we went. But the outside is impressive.

  Not much to do other than walk round but worth a visit to learn the Manx Heritage.

  It was closed when we arrived but we could still appreciate what a feat of engineering it was. The wheel looked magnificent

  God site. Plenty of historical context. Need a good head for heights if you choose to climb the wheel tower. And wear good footwear if you're going to walk the whole mines trail. There's a fair amount of 'up' and some slippery bits.
